Deconstructed Diamond 18K Gold and Oxidized Sterling Silver Necklace

Coming apart and coming together, at the same time. 

Bands of 18K gold and oxidized sterling silver are carefully combined in a series of elements that are carefully melded together organically, almost like tree bark, with a faceted diamond in a 18K gold setting accenting one edge like a glint of sunlight. 

The pendant measures 1.75" tall by 3/8" wide at the widest point and is suspended from a heavily oxidized 18" sterling silver box chain which resists kinking and knotting.
